Prof. Joe Houghton

Joe co-created the MSc in Project Management at Smurfit and currently delivers to many of the Management programs. He also consults, trains & coaches in the areas of risk management, problem projects, project management processes, charity governance & management to corporates, Govt. departments, and non-profits. Joe runs "The Plus One podcast" on innovative education where he interviews educators from around the globe on inspirational teaching & learning practices - see https://plusonepodcast.podbean.com/ - the first season of interviews is currently being written up as a book.

As an entrepreneur, Joe has run several businesses and currently operates Houghton Photography. He was Nikon's trainer in Ireland from 2006-2018, released his first book "Streets of Dublin: a street photography guide" in Sept 2019 & his second "Take Your Time - the art and craft of long exposure photography" in July 2021, both available on Amazon. He regularly delivers talks all over the world to camera clubs on many topics.

Leo- Paul Dana, Ph. D

Léo-Paul Dana holds titles of Visiting Professor at Kingston University and Professor at Dalhousie University. A graduate of McGill University and HEC-Montreal, he has served as Marie Curie Fellow at Princeton University and Visiting Professor at INSEAD. He has published extensively in a variety of journals including Entrepreneurship: Theory & Practice, International Business Review, International Small Business Journal, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Small Business Management, Journal of World Business, Small Business Economics, and Technological Forecasting & Social Change.

Prateek Kalia, Ph.D.

Dr. Prateek Kalia is a post-doctoral researcher at the Department of Corporate Economy, Faculty of Economics and Administration, Masaryk University, Brno, Czech Republic. Earlier, he worked as Director and Professor at a leading university in North India. He is a specialist in the field of management with a keen interest in digital analytics, electronic commerce, e-service quality, and consumer behaviour. His articles are published in leading international journals like the International Journal of Operations & Production Management, Computers in Human Behavior, Journal of Innovation & Knowledge, The TQM Journal, etc. He is a reviewer for various A- category journals. He has presented his work at several national and international conferences and received awards and accolades. Currently, he is editing a book related to digital analytics for Apple Academic Press (CRC Press). Dr Nimit Gupta is a seasoned academician in outcome-based management education. He is a certified marketing trainer trained by Dr Philip Kotler. He is certified from Harvard for case teaching. He has 18 years of experience in Teaching, Academic Administration, Consultancy and Research at reputed management institutes of Delhi NCR. He had worked in various capacities as PGP Chairperson, Programme Director, Internship Coordinator, NBA Team Member, Marketing Club Coordinator, Governing Board Member (Faculty Representative), Examination Controller to name a few. He acted as the CEO of the annual cultural festivals and sports events including Intra level events. He has authored 3 books on contemporary themes- Permission Marketing and Case Writing. Anoop Pandey, Ph. D

Dr. Vu Thanh Huong is working as Vice Dean with Faculty Vietnam National University, Hanoi. She has completed Ph. D in International Economics. She has an impressive publication with ten books to her credit, sixteen book chapters and various research articles in Scopus and other reputed journals. She has completed twenty-seven research projects and she have an overall experience of twenty-one years.

Prof. SS Prasada Rao, Ph. D

Prior to the present position as Director, Teaching Learning Centre, Sharda University, Prof. Prasada Rao has held several administrative portfolios in GITAM University such as Centre for Learning & Sustainability, Director, Academic Affairs, Founder Dean & Director of Hyderabad Business School (GHBS), Founding Director, Internal Quality Assurance Cell, and Founder Director, GITAM Centre for Distance Learning, Member of the Academic Council among several other positions. He was also on the Advisory Board of The Indian Management Researcher, a bi-annual journal of HBS. Charmaine Gangen

Charmaine Gangen’s experience spans Four continents (Africa, Asia, North America, South America) over the last 30 years, having worked in South Africa, UAE, Saudi Arabia, India, Philippines, and North Africa. She found her niche in the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem across the globe and made her mark as a global Entrepreneurship collaborator where she organized one of the largest global Entrepreneurship Catalyst Symposiums in February 2022. She is a seasoned business academic and a Subject Matter Expert on 25 Business areas and has lectured, facilitated, mentored, and coached students in Health Sciences and a spectrum of Business programs in various Universities and private colleges in South Africa. (University of the Western Cape, Cape Peninsula University of Technology, University of Cape Town, Management College of Southern Africa, Boston City Campus, and Cornerstone), India and Philippines.

Charmaine is also a highly qualified healthcare professional, with more than 25 years’ experience in clinical care, private healthcare management and education in the public and private healthcare sector across South Africa, the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. She has assisted with the implementation of the Vermont Oxford Network (a US based) global neonatal database in one of the biggest private healthcare groups in SA. In 2011, she conducted a detailed case study on the First paperless hospital in South Africa with a group of MBA students. In 2019, her thesis on “challenges of undergraduate students in private institutions” made its way to the 3rd World conference on Education in Malaysia.

Rumki Bandyopadhyay, Ph. D

Rumki Bandyopadhyay possesses rich experience of 22+ years in institutional leadership, training, research, publications, and teaching. Her expertise lies in accounting, finance, entrepreneurship, and international education. By education, she is a qualified master’s in commerce and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). She also studied for Certificate of Teaching in Higher Education from the Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom. Dr. Bandyopadhyay has published several research papers and journal articles in national and international reputed conferences, symposiums, journals, and books. World’s one of the most reputed research and publication company named Emerald Publications from the UK has awarded her with ‘Best Research Paper Award’ for her research work. She is regularly invited as keynote speaker and trainer by various corporate and academic organizations. She was invited by the government of India to undertake the Investors Education Protection Fund project and a major European funded (ERASMUS+) project which she completed successfully. To her credit she has two patents published under Intellectual Property Rights, Government of India and one patent is Granted, German Patent and Trademark office. She is on the editorial and review boards of highly reputed national and international journals, professional bodies including the International Management Research Academy (IMRA), London, UK.

She has to her credit experience of academic leadership and institutional building both in India and abroad. She has been actively involved with the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Currently she is actively involved with the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) Government of India, National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF), National Board of Accreditation (NBA), Accreditation Service for International Schools (ASIC) United Kingdom and Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET). A Ph. D scholar was conferred with Ph. D degree under her able guidance. Currently she is the Director for the academic operations with University of the People, Pasadena, California, USA and is consultant to university for successful completion of UGC inspection and NAAC accreditation.

Prof. Anuj Kumar

Prof. Anuj Kumar is currently an Assistant Professor at the Apeejay School of Management, Dwarka, Delhi. He is pursuing an Executive-Ph. D in Management from Aligarh Muslim University (Central University). He holds a double master’s degree in management with a specialization in International Business. He has completed M.Sc. in International Business from University College Dublin, Michael Smurfit Graduate Business School, Ireland Prof. Kumar has more than sixty publications in total (Scopus- 20, ABDC- 15, WoS- 15, SCI-2, ABS-3). He also has three e-books and five book chapters to his credit. He has one international patent grant from South Africa. Prof. Kumar has more than 300 citations on Google Scholar with an h-index (11) and i10-index (12).

He has attended/organized more than 50 conferences (National/International/ICSSR/AICTE) and 35 FDPs. He is also the editor/reviewer for ABDC, and Scopus indexed journals. He is guest editor of the Journal of Statistics and Management Systems (ABDC-C), Taylor, and Francis. He is the associate editor for the Academy of Marketing Studies Journal (ABDC-B) and special issue editor for Acta Universitatis Bohemiae Meridionalis (ABDC-C, 2022). He is also a guest editor for the Asia Pacific Journal of Health Management (Scopus and ABDC-C, Volume 16, Issue 4, 2021). He is the special issue editor for International Management Review (UGC CARE-I, Volume 18, 2022). Prof. Kumar has been invited as session chair, resource person, key-note speaker, and judge at various conferences in India and outside. He is also invited for guest lecture series at Vietnam National University, Hanoi, and other foreign universities. He also got a grant for a major research project from the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) in the capacity of the co-project investigator.

Harishchandra Singh Rathod, Ph. D

Prof. (Dr) Harishchandra Singh Rathod specializes in Marketing Management and possesses immense interest in research related to Rural Marketing, Consumer Behavior, Advertising and Tourism. He has a teaching experience of more than 19 years and is currently designated as an in-charge Director at Shri Jairambhai Patel Institute of Business Management, NICM, Gandhinagar. Along with this he also shoulders the responsibility as an Associate Dean of Faculty of Management Studies, Gujarat Technological University. Dr. Rathod had the privilege of attending International FDP at the United Kingdom in December 2018 and delivering an expert talk on ‘Bottom of the Pyramid’ at American University of Afghanistan, Kabul in April 2019. Dr. Rathod is also known for imparting training to Banking Personnel and has trained more than 800 employees of Bank of Baroda from June 2016 to February 2020 covering several modules ranging from Customer Satisfaction, SERVQUAL and Marketing of Banking Services. He has authored five books and published several research papers in journals of repute. To his credit he has the “Emerging Leader in Management Award-2019”, ‘Teaching Excellence Award-2018’ and the ‘Innovative Trainer Award-2016’ Dr. Rathod has also appeared on a TV talk show, ‘Lakshya’ aired on GTPL Gujarati on March 17, 2019, where he expressed his views about ‘Innovative Teaching Practices’.

Marina Barkiđija Sotošek, Ph. D

Marina Barkiđija Sotošek, PhD, works as a senior assistant at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management, and she is head of the graduate university programme "Tourism Management". She received her University Specialist in Business Administration - MBA (2016) from the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Economics and PhD in Economics (2019) from the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management. She is the author and co-author of more than 25 scientific and professional papers and has been involved in numerous scientific and professional projects. Currently she is involved as a researcher in three EU projects: HKO - Excellence and efficiency in higher education in the field of economics, CEKOM - Competence Centre for Smart Cities and ON-IT - Online Internship in Tourism. Her research area is Special Interest Tourism, Nautical Tourism and Business Tourism.

Nataša Kovačić, Ph. D

Nataša Kovačić is an associate professor at the University of Rijeka, Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija, where she also got her PhD in the field of Hotel logistic product in sport tourism supply. She is the head of the Department of Logistics and Tourism Resources. Her publications reflect her research interests and include transportation and mobility management in relation to tourism, tourism supply chains, sports tourism, and smart tourism. She publishes in journals and participates with papers in conferences.

She participated in several scientific research projects, both as a researcher and as a project leader, and worked on important strategic projects of tourism development. Recently, Kovačić was a project leader on a scientific project Smart mobility and tourism: alternative mobility in destinations' tourism, as well as the head of two EU-funded projects: CEKOM - Competence Centre for Smart Cities and SMARTMed: Empower Mediterranean for Smart Tourism at her Faculty. She continuously updates her research and teaching skills by participating in educational workshops and courses. Her work also includes reviewing articles for journals and conferences. In her free time, she is involved in running and volunteers with Civil Protection.

Tomislav Car, PhD, Assistant Professor

Tomislav Car, PhD, is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Informatics at the Faculty of Tourism and Hospitality Management in Opatija, University of Rijeka. He received his PhD from the same faculty in 2017. As a team member (researcher) he has participated in several projects: "Supply Chain Management in Hospitality", "Smart Mobility and Tourism: alternative mobility in destinations' tourism", "Future-proof your classroom: teaching skills 2030 - Teaching 2030" and "The CEKOM Project (Center of Competence for Smart Cities)". His research focuses on mobile technology, mobile apps, Internet of Things (IoT), social media, and ICT in tourism and hospitality.
